Gnanakshepakvant: Continuous Thoughts on Soul or Self Inquiry

Gnanakshepakvant is a state wherein a person has continuous thoughts about the Soul.

Param Pujya Dada Bhagwan, the Gnani Purush and the spiritual scientist of the Akram Vignan, would have continuous thoughts on Soul for days on end, even before the manifestation of Gnan. Param Pujya Dadashri read the scriptures in order to find out what He was experiencing. He found that He was in fact in experience of the state of Gnanakshepakvant featuring non-stop soul thoughts.

Param Pujya Dadashri had a feeling that He would attain the right vision of the Self. He had figured out the true essence of the Self from all the books He read. He was convinced that the Tirthankaras, the Vitaraags were real and that their doctrines were absolutely correct. This had been His spiritual search from endless past lives.

Even before the manifestation of Gnan (Self Realization), Param Pujya Dadashri’s worldly religious conduct was that of one who practices Jainism and Vaishavism. For instance, He maintained the discipline of drinking boiled water irrespective of where He was, even at work, which is a tenet of Jainism.

However, this Gnan manifested within Param Pujya Dadashri not because of His religious conduct, but as a result of many evidences coming together. This spiritual science of Akram Vignan would otherwise not have manifested. It is the collective science of all the past twenty-four Tirthankars.
