What is the purpose of a person doing business or a job? To earn money! But what about business ethics or workplace ethics? Moreover, everyone seeks profit; no one goes into business to incur a loss. Everyone’s purpose behind earning money is to make a living and be happy. But can money really bring happiness?

People spend the whole day struggling to earn money. The whole world is obsessed with money, yet happiness does not come. People may have grand bungalows, cars, and servants; yet, no one has the time to enjoy them, because they are constantly running in the race to earn money.

Not only that, nowadays in business or jobs, people are rushing to find ways to make money quickly. In this rush, people become so blind that they lose awareness of what is right and what is wrong. Greed for money has led to the spread of adulteration, immorality, corruption, black money, and other vices.

In this era, when all businessmen are binding causes for regression towards a lower life-form, the understanding of how a person can escape these risks by practically following business ethics while still managing their worldly life is revealed here.

Money comes and goes as a Result of Karmas

Money and prosperity comes or stays in our life based on our karmic accounts. May money be less or more, one can remain happy and satisfied in life on attainment of Self Realization.

People live for two reasons. There are those who live for the Soul; such people are very rare. All others live for money. All day is spent for money, money, money!
Dishonesty is the Best Foolishness. There has to be a limit to foolishness, do you not think so?

To misuse wealth is a great fault.
When will money not come to one? It is when he speaks ill of others and scandalizes. Money will come to the one who has purity of mind, body and speech.
Whether you conduct your business in an underhand way or in a proper way, the same profit will be gained. However, the deceitfulness is giving rise to a liability for you in the next life. That is why the Lord has forbidden deceitfulness. There’s no benefit to it, just endless loss to be incurred!
In business, do not take anything that does not rightfully belong to you. The day you end up taking anything that is not rightfully yours, from that day your business will not prosper.
One needs to have tremendous courage to do business. If courage is lost, then the businesss will fail.
God does not interfere in business at all. In business, only these two will be helpful: your expertise and your ethical standards. With unethical standards, you may get a good return for a year or two, but after that you will incur a loss. If you eventually feel remorse when something wrong happens, even then you will become free (from bondage of karma).
Money is ‘limited’ and people’s demands are ‘unlimited’.
Business has two ‘children’. One is called ‘loss’ and the other ‘profit’. No one likes the one called ‘loss’, but both are indeed there. They are born together.
