As long as devotional viewing (darshan) of the amurta (the invisible One, the Self) has not been done [Self-realization has not taken place], definitely do devotional viewing (darshan) of an idol of God (murti). Devotional viewing of an idol of God is actually a science of India. As soon as one spots a temple, he bows down at that very point.

As long as there is agnan (ignorance of the Self), the Self (Atma) is a gneya (an object to be known; realized). After Self-realization, the Self is the Knower (Gnata).

Without the attainment of Soul (Self-realization), there is no place that is worth having a fanatic attachment to a viewpoint. It is not worth holding on, or being stuck at a single place.

If a person’s trust is violated, he will leave even his friend. You shouldn’t leave him! There is energy of absolute supreme Soul within; and if Self-realization is attained, one may even attain the state of absolute supreme Soul!

As long as one is involved in worldly interactions, there is mental happiness; and after Self-realization, there is bliss of the Soul.

Mental happiness has been experienced because of the ignorance of the Self, and that is indeed the cause of worldly life. Only the bliss of 'True Knowledge' (Self-realization) should be experienced.

The ‘gnan’ (knowledge) that was resulting into ‘gneya’ (the things to be known); when that ‘knowledge’ results in being the ‘Gnata’ (Knower); this is known as ‘Atma Gnan’ (Self-Realization).

If one knows how to ‘digest’ an insult after attaining Self-realization, he will become a ‘Gnani’ (the enlightened one). And if he ‘digests’ an insult without attaining Self-realization, he will become shameless.

Kashays (anger-pride-deceit-greed) will not leave through suppression, they will leave through Gnan (Self-realization).
