When there is no overt [outward] or subtle inner restlessness, it is indeed the state of internal peace. If the chit (inner component of knowledge and vision) concentrates on the external, inner peace breaks down. It is because of the external focus that this world has arisen.
Param Pujya Dada BhagwanThe chit (inner component of knowledge and vision) is not something that will bend as you please. That is why the yogis keep focusing their chit on the chakras (wheels of energy throughout the body). That is not a spiritual practice (sadhana) of the mind, it is a spiritual practice of the chit!
Param Pujya Dada BhagwanThe purpose of all these religions is to keep the chit (inner component of knowledge and vision) away from worldly life, so that it remains in a non-worldly state. That is why people keep the chit focused on God’s idol, on chakras (wheels of energy throughout the body); however, it is difficult for it to remain [focused] in one place. People keep the chit [focused] on God’s idol, but that chit does not remain [focused] on God. Nevertheless, as it does not remain in worldly life for that duration, worldly life becomes insipid. Whereas ‘our’ [the Gnani Purush’s] chit actually remains only in God!
Param Pujya Dada BhagwanWhen some people meditate, they see bright light like the sun! What is that? That is a miracle of the chit (inner component of knowledge and vision). As the chit becomes focused, all such things happen!
Param Pujya Dada BhagwanAs the chit (inner component of knowledge and vision) focuses [on the Self], bliss arises.
Param Pujya Dada BhagwanThere is no such reason in this world for which it is worth engaging in conflict in the slightest extent. This is because the inherent result of the Self is to be full of bliss. The bliss of the Self is such that no one can take it away. The Self’s form is such that It can never hurt anyone nor can anyone hurt It (avyabaadh swaroop)! One (pote) has splendour! That is why too much focus should not be maintained on that which is a foreign thing, on the ‘foreign department’. Foreign means foreign; [remain] superfluous [superficial]!
