There will be nothing but misery, sorrow and unhappiness as long as abhimaan (excessive pride due to material possessions) does not retire!
Param Pujya Dada BhagwanMany people suffer great miseries but if you ask them in front of others, 'you went through great difficulty, didn't you?', then they will respond, 'no, no I didn't have any suffering'. Then they feel happy. So what kind of ‘egoism’ should one do? During times of sorrow, one should do the ‘egoism’ of happiness such that 'no one is happier than I!' People in general do the ‘egoism’ of sorrow at the time of happiness.
Param Pujya Dada BhagwanEverything is filled within this body; anger, joy, sorrow. However, when the Self does not become engrossed in that and when every circumstance of the pudgal (non-Self complex of input and output) is Known as an effect of the non-Self (parparinaam), that is considered Conduct as the Self (samyak Charitra)!
