The eyes of the Gnani Purush are completely pristine. It is when there is no worldly intent whatsoever that such pristineness arises. When no worldly intent remains, that is when one will be able to do darshan (devotional viewing) of the vitaraag Parmatma (absolute Self who is completely free of attachment and abhorrence) in His eyes!

To become one is called vitaraag bhaav (a state of absolute detachment), whereas to become separate is called raag-dwesh bhaav (a state where there is the prevalance of attachment and abhorrence).

If we oppose someone, then he will side with our opposition and he will become stronger in that. Instead, we should not oppose at all. The Lord became free only through a state of absolute detachment (vitaraagata).
