That which reduces agnan (ignorance of the Self) is ‘Gnan’ (Knowledge of the Self). ‘Gnan’ is kriyakaari (that which procures results on its own). Scriptural knowledge (shashtragnan) does not procure results on its own. Anubhav Gnan (Knowledge of the Self that has come into One’s experience) procures results on its own.

Where there is True Knowledge, there Artadhyan (mournful contemplation that hurts the self) and raudradhyan (wrathful contemplation that hurts the self and others) stops. Therefore all worldly karmas stops.
