There is nothing but eternal bliss in the Self, but because of the intents that harbor anger, pride, deceit and greed, the bliss of the Self becomes veiled.
Param Pujya Dada BhagwanJust as [after eating] a jalebi (an Indian sweet), tea tastes bland, similarly, it is only after you 'taste' [experience] the bliss of the Self, that the pleasures of worldly life feel insipid. As long as the pleasures of worldly life do not feel insipid, you cannot break free from worldly life!
Param Pujya Dada BhagwanWhen no expectation remains for anything at all, there the bliss is nirpeksh anand (bliss that is not dependent on any person or thing).
