Sugar-coated words used in worldly speech make one slip (spiritually), and melodious speech which accepts all viewpoints and never hurts anyone’s viewpoint makes one rise higher (spiritually)!
Param Pujya Dada BhagwanIf these words did not exist, then liberation (moksha) would be attained naturally and spontaneously. In this current era of the time cycle, it is indeed through speech that there is bondage. Therefore, not a single word should be uttered for anyone.
Param Pujya Dada BhagwanWhat is egoism? It is that which runs away from God. As egoism goes on increasing, then stubbornness (aadayee), pride (maan), pride of doership (garva), arrogance (gamand) words are used. Egoism arises the moment one slightly moves away from God.
Param Pujya Dada BhagwanFor one person, it’s Allah, for another person, it’s God, for someone else, it’s Bhagwan, for another person it’s Parmatma; this is all a fight over words. The elemental truth is simply one. The viewpoints of human beings are different. When there is no difference between the ‘photos’ [appearance], color, height, size, spare parts of human beings, then how could there be a difference in the God of human beings? We ourselves are God indeed, but this state of Godhood is hidden; that too is a wonder, isn’t it!
Param Pujya Dada BhagwanThe Self is beyond what can be expressed through words and It is also beyond that which cannot be expressed through words (nihshabda)! Swaroop (the form as the Self) cannot be understood through words; nor can It be understood without words. One should have attained the conviction [as the Self].
Param Pujya Dada BhagwanThe very inherent nature of ignorance of the Self (agnanta) is ‘stickiness’. If someone speaks slightly pleasant words, then attraction arises, and if someone speaks words that are bitter, then repulsion arises.
Param Pujya Dada Bhagwan‘Bhagwan’ (God, Self) and ‘Paramatma’ (Supreme or absolute Self); these two words are spoken. Muslims speak the two words-‘Khuda’ (God, Self) and ‘Allah’ (Supreme spirit, Absolute Self). Allah is used for Paramatma and Khuda is used for Bhagwan.
Param Pujya Dada BhagwanYou will especially not find anyone who speaks bitterly to you. All the 'diseases' [worldly suffering] remains due to the sweetness. Bitterness will remove the disease, sweetness will increase it. Your life should be such that you will not have to listen to bitter words. If however, you have to listen to bitter words, then you should listen to it. It is always beneficial.
Param Pujya Dada BhagwanAll the words thrown on to others will eventually fall on you, so speak such pure words so that pure words will indeed fall on you.
