The life force (Chetan) can never exist in inanimate matter (jada). There can never be inanimate matter in Chetan. It is this body alone that is mishrachetan (the energized self; a mixture of the living and the non-living)! It functions as though it is living, but it is actually not living.

The universe is filled with nothing but the six eternal elements! These six partners make up a limited company. (1) That which provides the place for the business is avkash (space). (2) The provider of the goods for the business is the pudgal (inanimate matter). (3) That which transports the goods back and forth is the gati sahayak tattva (element of motion) (4) That which does the work of arranging and storing the goods is the sthiti sahayak tattva (element of inertia). (5) That which is responsible for the settlement of the above four is kaal tattva (element of time). (6) The One who keeps watch is the pure Soul, the Knower-Seer.

Chetan (the Self) is never present in jada (inanimate matter), and jada is never present in Chetan. This body alone is mishrachetan (a mixture of the Self and the non-Self). It functions like Chetan, but it is not Chetan in reality! The realization of vastutva (the Knowledge about what the Self is and what It is not) happens through the Science that separates the Self from the non-Self (bhed Vignan). The separation between jada and Chetan takes place.

The moment you harbor a bad intent, the parmanu (the impure phase particles of inanimate matter) that come within are so bad that they give off a bitter effect. If you nurture a good intent, they will give off a sweet effect; and if You do not engage in bhaav or abhaav (good or bad intents), if You have become the pure Soul, then You are no longer the doer. Thereafter, the parmanu brought forward from the past life will give their effects and leave, and no new effects will come. It is only the parmanu that are doing all of these things.

There are only two things here, the Self and the Pudgal (the eternal element of inanimate matter). The One who has Known the Self has understood the Pudgal and the One who Knows the Pudgal has understood the Self.
