The world can never survive without dependency (avalamban). Some dependency or another is needed. The mind needs food. The one who has become free of dependency has become free.

Sahaj (natural and spontaneous) means a state that is completely free of effort being made. There is no problem when tea and food come to you without any effort on your part.

If there are grains of food on one side and excrement on the other, in God’s eyes, they are both “material (matter)”. What does God say about this? “All are materials!”
