Saints and devotees put us on the religious pathway, whereas an Avatar (self realized person) will directly place you before your own soul & put you to Practice Spirituality. He will never ask you to do this or do that, to do merit or demerit karma, to do so much penance, so many fasts, or chant so many times. He understands that talking about doing all these is different. He has reached this stage after doing all that, for endless lives. What remains, what is missing? to become one with the Soul, to become the soul. He, places you on that stage; that is who you call an Avatar (self realized person).

Saints and devotees are still struggling to reach this stage. We have never been in touch with a real Avatar (Gnani Purush). All these are saints and devotees. They preach about spirituality, about the Gita, about the Upanishads, about the Vedas, or about the Aagams, all of these, but none can make you experience your own soul. They may describe the Soul in words; however, they have never experienced it. A person who has experienced his own soul is called a Gnani Purush (self realized person). Those who have heard of Shrimad Rajchandra, he was a Gnani of this era, then there was Kundkundacharya many years ago, who was also a real Gnani.

In religion, there is a religious pathway; while spirituality means you are one with your own Soul. Take the form of your Soul. When you are one with your soul, from then on you realize that I am Lord Shiva, I am Lord Krishna, I am Lord Rama. The form that they were, I am now. There remain no differences anymore between You and I. There no longer remains the distinction of you being God and I your devotee. You and I are one. We are in the form of Soul and we are one. From You're the One, You're the One' to I'm the One, I'm the one', that is the ultimate understanding.

It is there, it is all there in our scriptures, but it has become so mixed up, hence people are doing both things together. People do this and people do that. Therefore, the distinction is lost; hence, neither pathway is fulfilled. Religion and spirituality has been mixed up, you do not get the taste of the soul nor do you get the taste of religion. That clarity is just not there. The clarity of understanding is just not there. Until you get the clarity, it does not matter what you do, do it with clear understanding. Then you will get the results you desire. Who has such clarity? The answer is - one who himself is clear, one who knows the distinction, demarcation, separation - that this is about the Soul' and all the rest is not. Wherever there is any doer-ship' there is nothing of the Soul'. Doing good is religion and doing bad goes against religion, one of the two will always happen.

In religion, results are not required, yet, you keep doing it, but how much change has it brought in you? How much have you achieved? What are you looking for in the result, how much have your anger, pride, worldly delusion, greed, attachment and contempt, decreased. By how much has your inner peace increased? By how much have your tension and worries decreased? By how much has mine and yours, conflicts and animosity towards one another decreased. How much resolution has come to the conflicts between mother-in-law, wife, sister-in-law, wife and husband, wife and children? Should not there be some kind of result. That is what we say. Become one with your soul, which should have an impact on your life. Even a 5% impact. Practice Spirituality. We are not saying you need to have a 100% change. Start with one or two percent and slowly as you proceed on you will progress further. However, nothing will change, it will be just be the same (externally) but you will profound change within internally.
