We had business in Sonaghad-Vyara and I was returning home one day. One man used to accompany me all the time. I used to eat before sunset so I had my dinner on the train. We arrived at Surat Station at 6.00 pm. The other gentleman went off to wash the dinner dishes while I waited on a bench. At that moment this Knowledge manifested spontaneously within me. I saw the entire cosmos: How does the world run? Who runs the world? What is God? What is karma? What is liberation? How does everything come together? I saw all this and understood everything and attained eternal bliss. Thus all puzzles were solved.
That day my ego completely vanished and ‘I’ began to live in a completely different state without egoism and without attachment. A. M. Patel remained the same and ‘I’ became a separate entity. Since that moment the internal bliss has never left me, not even for a second.
356 DEGREES
What you see before you is not Dada Bhagwan, it is A. M. Patel from the town of Bhadran. I am a Gnani Purush and Dada Bhagwan is the Lord of the Fourteen Universe that has manifest within me. He is within you and everyone else too but He has not yet manifested. Within you he remains unmanifest whereas within me he is fully manifest and he gives boon. Even if you were to praise his name just once, salvation is yours; however you have to praise him with understanding.
The Gnani Purush is one in whom there is no attachment, no ego, no intellect; that verily is the manifested form of Dada. I myself am not God, but I have attained 356 degrees of spiritual purity and Dada Bhagwan is perfect at 360 degrees. I myself bow down to Him because I lack the four degrees for perfection.
May the world attain the same bliss that i have attained
It is my ardent wish that people attain salvation. May everyone attain salvation the way I have. My school of spiritual satsang starts every morning does it not? And this school goes on until 11.30 at night, does it not? It is my deep inner intent that everyone acquires the same bliss that I have. Why is there so much suffering in the world? In reality there is no such thing as unhappiness and yet people are enduring unhappiness through sheer misunderstanding. Their unhappiness will be alleviated if they get rid of their wrong understanding. Now, when will they get rid of that misunderstanding? I cannot get rid of it merely by telling them; I have to show them.
This Dada is a Gnani Purush. This is Dada’s shop of bliss. How does his shop run? It runs the whole day. Even if someone throws stones, He still feeds them lovingly.
