Aptavani-5

Aptavani-5

The entire worldly life and its interactions are in the form of discharge (galan) and it is scientific circumstantial evidences (vyavasthit shakti). All five senses are subject to unfolding karma effect (udayadhin). What causes bondage of karma? The very belief, ‘I am Chandubhai’, is the root cause of bondage of karma. One only has to understand the facts. This is a science. In this book, Param Pujya Dadashri has explained the five senses and their individual functions. The mind (mun), intellect (buddhi), chit (vision and knowledge), and the ego (ahamkar) are all in their individual functions (dharma). Then who has failed to remain in its own function? The Self has. The function of the Self is to ‘see’, to ‘know’, and to remain in the absolute blissful state. Every living being is flowing forward in the current of life. No one is a doer here. The doer that appears to be the doer is an evidentiary (nimit, instrumental) doer, not an independent doer. If one were an independent doer, one would be in permanent captivity (bondage). The evidentiary doer can never be made captive. The world naturally goes on as a result of forces of natural circumstances. Only the wrong belief, ‘I did it’, arises in this! because of this wrong belief of doership the seed of karma for the next life is sown! In the given compilation, Param Pujya Dadashri’s discourse is presented on topics such as the science of karmas, doership, five senses, the ego, basic nature of people (prakruti), humility towards Gnanis, repentance of sins, penance, etc. Such understanding will help spiritual seekers to gain knowledge of the Self and how to peacefully interact in the existing worldly life.

Most of us always face this problem wherein on one hand there are external problems at every moment in worldly interactions, and on the other hand, one is enmeshed in internal struggles and single-handedly has to solve them. We find that sometimes it’s our speech that has created some problem, or we are hurt by what someone has said to us, or we are thinking ill of others or we feel that some injustice is inflicted upon us or it’s just that we are not at peace with ourselves. Interactions of the worldly life are a museum of puzzles. After one puzzle is settled, the next one will pop up. Why are we facing such problems? Why are we wandering since infinite lives? It is because of atkan! Actually, one always had the bliss of the Self, but he got sunk into the atkan of pleasures of the flesh. This blockade can be broken down by the grace of the Gnani Purush (the enlightened one) and thereafter by one’s own parakram (tremendous spiritual efforts). Once you attain the knowledge of the Self, the world will settle down. This world is not meant for fretting in useless discussions about others. This world is as it is. In that you, the Self, have to find your safe side. So let’s plunge in and learn how this Akram Vignan (the step less knowledge of the self) is useful to understand the science of bondage, karmas, speech, repentance, laws of nature, etc which will facilitate all to survive the cyclones of the worldly life problems.

Moksha-marg (path to liberation) is the path to freedom; it is the path of attaining freedom from all worldly attachments. But what is preventing us from reaching the ultimate destination of moksha on this path? We believe some practices will be instrumental for achieving freedom. However, most of these practices do not help us in experiencing freedom. The attachments are not broken in spite of performing many different practices. What is going wrong? What are the obstacles? There are obstacles that are binding people in this world. They cannot visualize these hindrances. And by taking support of such obstacles, people have turned away from the path of final liberation. The Gnanis (the Enlightened ones) have said that anger-pride-deceit and greed are the cause of bondage and obstruction on the path of liberation. Only when one is absolutely rid of these faults, one can attain final liberation. All faults are encompassed in anger-pride-deceit and greed, but, how do these faults unfold and manifest in worldly interactions? This can only be understood when the Gnani Purush explains them in detail. Presented in this book, are beautiful, basic and heart-touching discussions by Param Pujya Dadashri (master of spiritual science) about the causes of obstruction on moksha-marg and the solutions for spiritual practitioners to rise above all of these to get liberation.

Autobiograpy Of Gnani Purush A.M.Patel

Autobiograpy Of Gnani Purush A.M.Patel

It was around six, one evening in June 1958, a well dressed gentleman with a black topi(hat)was sitting on a bench on platform number three of Surat railway station in Gujarat. The platform was bustling with people and trains on other lines. He had just finished supper before sunset and was waiting for another train to take him to Vadodara. His name was Ambalal Muljibhai Patel. His assistant stepped away to clean the tiffin. This is when nature unfolded a phenomenal spiritual world within Ambalal. At the end of this spontaneous internal enlightenment, which took about forty-eight minutes, Ambalal came to be known to the world as Gnani Purush Dadashri (master of spiritual science). Dada Bhagwan the fully enlightened Self had manifested within him. This Lord ‘Dada Bhagwan’ expressed naturally within the temple of Ambalal Muljibhai by a natural event. This was the culmination of his spiritual seeking and efforts of many previous lives. The expression of the spiritual knowledge was complete and spontaneous and this science has now come to be known as Akram Vignan (the step less knowledge of the self). The vision of the universe was attained in an hour. The answers to all questions of spirituality were seen in this vision and all questions were dissolved completely. What is this world? How is it governed and run? Who am I? Who are we all? What is karma? What is bondage? What is liberation? What is the secret of liberation? How can moksha (liberation) be attained? Countless such answers and explanations unfolded in this process. Thus nature brought to the world, a supreme and unparalleled spiritual vision through the medium of Shri A.M. Patel, a respected member of the community of Bhadaran, a married man conducting a business of construction contracts. Despite being a worldly person, this was no ordinary human being in whom the supreme desire to understand, know and experience the eternal existed ever since childhood. In such a human being the extraordinary new science of ‘Akram Vignan’ had manifested this day in June 1958.

Avoid Clashes

Avoid Clashes

The clashes in daily life need to be resolved. Why do we want to spoil everything through conflicts? This simply does not suit us. People abide by traffic laws, which are strict regulations. They don't drive according to their own interpretations, do they? Because they abide by traffic regulations, they are spared from accidents. Likewise, in your daily life you must follow the laws that prevent clashes. Clashes occur because you follow your own laws and interpretations. When people obey the traffic laws there are no difficulties with the way traffic runs. If you apply the same rule with this understanding to your daily interactions, you will never run into difficulties again. The problems arise because of your own limited interpretations of the laws of life. There is a fundamental error in understanding the laws of life. The one who explains these laws must have a thorough experience of these laws. Read further to understand why conflicts occur, what are the types of conflict, how to avoid conflicts in relationships and find remedy for conflict free life which will help transform your mindset into a more positive one. The aim is to fill your life with peace and joy and help anchor you to walk the path of spirituality more firmly and thus attain ultimate liberation (Moksha).
