What is the ultimate goal of human life?
The ultimate goal of human life is to be free from all sufferings and to attain permanent bliss. Right now, you are striving for worldly happiness, which is temporary and followed by the period of sorrow. This is repetitive in nature and one can be only freed from all these bondages in human birth only.

What is the real cause of all sufferings?

All the suffering stems from ignorance of the Self. All sufferings in this world is because of ignorance. This ignorance leads to raag (attachment) and dwesh (abhorrence) relentlessly, and suffering is experienced as a consequence. Only the Gnan can cure this suffering. There is no other remedy. Gnan insulates you from suffering.
All the miseries in this world are due solely, to a lack of understanding. Man has created the miseries himself, because he is unable to understand. The suffering is the result of his own mistakes. When the mistakes go away, all the miseries will come to an end.
We have to suffer because of the karma we created in our past life, which is why it is our own mistake and no one else’s in this world. All others are merely the nimits (apparent doers) in all this. The suffering is yours, but it is delivered to you through the nimits. Why would the mailman be at fault if he delivered a letter with bad news?

How do I conquer my anger?

A person usually becomes angry when things do not go his way, when he is misunderstood by another person, or when his viewpoints clash with another’s viewpoints. Anger can only dissolve if one understands that those who do wrong by him are merely his nimits, (people instrumental in delivering the effects of his past karma) and that what he is experiencing is the result of his karmas from his previous life. We should be aware of our anger at all times. When someone is hurt by our anger, we should be remorseful, ask him or her for forgiveness, and vow never to get angry again. It is necessary for us to do this. We must do this because the person we become angry towards will be hurt; he will harbor a grudge and bind vengeance against us, and therefore, in our next life, we will have to suffer the consequences.

How can I be free from worries?

Worrying is pure egoism. The one who suffers from worries has no understanding of the science behind all acts and events. He goes about
thinking that he is the doer of all acts in his life and because of this claim of doership, he sets himself up for suffering in the form of worries when things do not go according to his plans. All events in this universe are under the control of scientific circumstantial evidences. There is no independent doer. Lack of this knowledge creates worries. When the sense of doership ceases worries will leave permanently.  The sense of doer ship will leave when one attains Self-Realization.

I have lot of clashes at my work place. How can I get rid of it?

Ignorance causes conflicts. If you have conflict with anyone, it is a sign of your own weakness. People are not at fault. They never cause differences of opinions. The differences in opinion are your own fault. If someone clashes with you on purpose, you should ask for his or her forgiveness. Whenever you are in conflict, the fault is yours. You have to do pratikraman and also maintain a friendly spirit towards that person. If conflict occurs again, do pratikraman again. There is no other weapon. In this world, there is no other tool but pratikraman. It is the ultimate tool. This world has come about because of atikraman (aggression), therefore, pratikraman is the antidote.

What should I do to have peace in my life?

Incorporate this phrase ‘Adjust Everywhere’ in your life and peace will take hold. Initially, for the first six months or so you will experience difficulties. This is because of reactions from the past life. Then peace will be yours. Therefore, adjust everywhere. In this frightful time of Kaliyug (the present time cycle), if you fail to adjust, you will be doomed.

Why do I have to suffer all the time?

If you do not learn anything else in worldly life it does not matter, but learning to adjust, is a necessity. You will sail through all the difficulties in life if you adjust to anyone who misadjusts with you. A person who knows how to adjust with others does not suffer. Adjustment with each and every person is the highest religion. There are different prakritis, (people with different personalities, characteristics, tendencies etc.) in our time, so go along with adjustments.
You suffer because of your opinions of good and bad. You must keep them in check. When we say something is good, other things by comparison become bad and begin to bother us. If we rise above opinions, good or bad, there is no suffering. ‘Adjust Everywhere’ is Dadashri’s discovery.

I have problems with my family members. How should I go about it?

Adjust with the very person who misadjusts with you. If there are maladjustments in the daily life between family members, the one who wants to escape from the vicious cycle of worldly life should adjust. When one keeps ripping things up, the other must mend. This is the only way a relationship can be sustained with peace.
There is no need to insist on your viewpoint in this relative world. You should be able to adjust even with a thief.
