This event is a celebration of Lord Krishna birth. On this day Hindus all over the world, celebrate Lord Krishna's birth. At Trimandir, Adalaj on Janmasthami, there is normally a multimedia show put on by the followers for visitors that depicts the birth of Lord Krishna. In 2006, the show depicted the birth of Lord Krishna, followed by a summarization of Lord Krishna's life up until the Mahabharat War and finished with the depiction of Lord Krishna giving the Bhagwat Gita sermon to Arjuna on the battlefield of Kurukshetra.
