Pujya Dadashri's Desire : |
"What is really really required in this day & age? It would be very good if we could create a space where elderly people can live. My thoughts were to that purpose. I've said, "If something like this was done then we would give them Gyan (Self Realization). Then if their other basic necessities were handled by other members of the public, it would do. But if Gyan (Self Realization) was given then their devotional and intuitive perception of God would continue, even then the project would continue. With this Gyan (Self Realization) they would remain in peace and tranquility, otherwise how would they get peace and tranquility?
If an elderly sixty five year old person is living at home with no worth in the eyes of other family members, then what would happen? They wouldn't be able to say anything and within bind deep rooted karmas. Therefore, the provision of an old people’s home by these people is worthy. It is helping. But do not call it an old people's home, but call it with a very respectful wording that brings a feeling of respectability to them."

On 6th November 2005, at the stone laying ceremony for Nirant, Pujya Niruma said:
"Dada said not to call it an old people’s home, but to give it a modern name. On hearing the words “old peoples home” one becomes hesitant to come here. Release from confusion and bewilderment, to leaving this world finally in peace and tranquility Their final intentions and contemplations, to be released from the endless cycles of life and death, to go on their final journey, with hopefully release from the binding of infinite time.
Our intention is just that, that everyone leaves here in peace, obtains happiness and moksha (salvation). This desire of Pujya Dadashri will be brought to fruition by Pujya Dadashri's strong desire."
