JANMAJAYANTI DAY

Gnani Purush Dadashri’s 100th birth anniversary was celebrated on the day of November 23, 2007.   Dadashri said that there are 3 special days during the year, when he is completely one with Dada Bhagwan, the fully enlightened Lord within Him.  Dada’s Janmajayanti is one of the 3 special days when one can attain darshan of the fully enlightened Dada Bhagwan. 

On this auspicious day, Pujya Deepakbhai’s message for all mahatmas was to ask Dada Bhagwan for the strength to stay in the 5 principles (Agnas) and maintain harmonious worldly interaction without the inner enemies of anger, greed, pride, lust, attachment, or abhorrence.  In addition, Pujya Deepakbhai explained that mahatma’s should use their mind, body, and speech for the salvation of the whole world (jagat kalyaan).

In recognition of the 100th birthday, Pujya Deepakbhai conducted a special 48 minute prayer for the salvation of the world.  The hall resonated with the sound of 30,000 mahatmas harmoniously repeating after Pujya Deepakbhai. This prayer planted the seeds for salvation of the world.

Pujya Deepakbhai started with the pooja of Simandhar Swami followed by the pooja of Dada Bhagwan.  This was followed by divo and aarti of Simandhar Swami and Dada Bhagwan.  Pujya Deepakbhai graced each of the 30, 000 mahatmas with individual Darshan which continued for 5 hours.  This precious darshan on the occasion of the 100th birthday celebration of Dada Bhagwan gave each mahatma the inner strength to progress on this spiritual path.
